What robotic welding truly eliminates is the paper trail. Every weld parameter, every arc-on time, every deviation is logged automatically. This data feeds directly into NDT planning: which welds need UT, which can be spot-checked with VT, and where RT is mandatory.

For the welding coordinator, this means faster WPQ validation and real-time traceability. Instead of chasing paper WPSs and manual logs, the NDT schedule is driven by live production data. Auditors get a digital record that is far more reliable than a binder of hand-signed forms.

Does your shop combine robotic weld data with NDT scheduling, or is it still paper-based?
